Moto2 GP Valencia Race – Raul Fernandez won the Moto2 class Valencia Grand Prix, the 18th and final stage of the 2021 MotoGP.

After an initial start to the race frozen by a red flag caused by oil left on the track following a contact, poleman Simone Corsi did not line up at the restart due to a technical failure.

After a long battle, Raul Fernadez wins the GP ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini) and Augusto Fernandez (Marc VDS).

Despite the victory, however, it is Remy Gardner (in the photo), tenth at the finish line, who wins the title of 2021 World Champion in the Moto2 class. -Fernandez however beats Marc Marquez's record of victories in the Rookie season in the Moto2 class.

Off the podium was Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) who finished fourth ahead of Aron Canet (Aspar) and Xavi Vierge (Petronas).

Seventh position for Sam Lowes (Marc VdS) ahead of Jorge Navarro and Marcel Schrotter (IntactGP). Stefano Manzi (HP Pons) finished in 13th position, while after the accident that caused the red flag, Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR46) finished in 20th position after lining up at the back of the group.
