Four Italians in the provisional Q2 of Moto2 at the Sachsenring
Moto2 German GP Sachsenring Free Practice 2 – Red Bull Ajo double in the second free practice session of the Moto2 class German Grand Prix, eighth round of the 2021 MotoGP.
Remy Gardner, the fastest in FP1, achieved the best time with a time of 1:24.197, a time 0.339s better than that set by team-mate and rookie Raul Fernandez.
Third time for our Fabio Di Giannantonio, who on the Team Gresini Kalex preceded Sam Lowes (Marc VDS, crashed without consequences, ed.) Xavi Vierge (Petronas), Augusto Fernandez (Marc VDS) and Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward ).
Closing out the Top Ten are Team Intact GP riders Marcel Schrotter and Tony Arbolino (category rookie) and Thomas Luthi (SAG Team).
Marcos Ramirez (American Racing), Albert Arenas (Boscoscuro Aspar), Jorge Navarro (Speed Up) and our Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR2) also qualified for the virtual Q46.
The other Italians are: Lorenzo Baldassarri (Mv Agusta Forward) 21st, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans) 23rd, Nicolò Bulega (Gresini) 24th, Stefano Manzi (Pons) 28th and Celestini Vietti (rookie Sky Racing Team VR46), 30th.
