The South African KTM rider achieved his second victory of the year after the one at the Red Bull Ring, beating a great Jorge Navarro, who once again brought Luca Boscoscuro's Speed ​​Up to the podium.

At Misano it was Fabio Di Giannantonio (today eleventh, ed.) who came close to winning, which also came thanks to a maneuver by Augusto Fernandez (today who crashed at the start of the race and finished 22nd, ed.) who had gone on the green (the rule now changed for that episode, ed.), today the Spaniard made the Italian manufacturer dream, who can still rejoice.

Returning to Binder, it is his fifth success in Moto2. Also on the podium was Alex Marquez, who, thanks to Fernandez's fall, is increasingly leading the world championship standings. The #73 leads with 38 points ahead of Navarro and 42 over Fernandez.

Fourth at the finish line was Luca Marini, with the Sky Racing Tea VR46 driver ahead of Sam Lowes, Tom Luthi, Iker Lecuona and Lorenzo Baldassarri.
