MotoGP Test Brno: Dovizioso, “The new fairing in Austria could give some good advantages”

IRTA MotoGP Czech Republic Ducati test – After yesterday's less than perfect race, Andrea Dovizioso returned to the track in Brno for the Irta test session, again on the Czech Republic circuit.

Very important for the rider from Forlì to try out various innovations, including the new winged fairing, used by his teammate in the race but never mounted by the #04 Ducati. The rider is very satisfied with the work carried out in Borgo Panigale, and although there are pros and cons, he is convinced that the new fairing can help in Austria.

Dovi finished in eleventh position, about one second and two from the top.

These are the words of Andrea Dovizioso: “Today was a perfect day to do all the tests we had planned. We had the time we needed to evaluate the bike with the new fairing, and we were able to test it thoroughly and get very clear feedback. The Ducati Corse guys did a really good job, because it wasn't easy to recreate the effect of the wings with the new regulations, but as always there are pros and cons in terms of riding and feeling. In my opinion it will be useful especially on some tracks and I believe that in Austria it could provide some good advantages."
