It was a weekend of ups and downs that the Althea BMW Racing team concluded at the TT Circuit in Assen, scene of the fourth round of the season.

Genesio Bevilacqua's team presented itself in the Netherlands with a new line up of riders: the withdrawal of Markus Reiterberger for health reasons has been made official, the German has not fully recovered from the bad accident that occurred last June in the Misano round, he promoted Raffaele De Rosa as “owner” alongside Jordi Torres.
The Italian rider's objective was first of all to clock up kilometers on the bike and gain confidence: in this sense the 13th place in Race 1 and the 17th in the second heat, where he suffered from the strong wind on the track, have a completely different value.

Different story for Jordi Torres who instead aimed to have a good weekend: he halfway succeeded with the good comeback in Race 2 which took him from 14th place to the final week.

“I struggled a bit at the beginning with the new tyre” – he said Jordi Torres – “but after four or five laps I started to gain confidence, managing to overtake some riders and managing a good comeback. With a good pace until the end, I also managed to pass Laverty before the finish line, finishing seventh. Not bad, but I hope to be able to do more at Imola, one of the team's 'home' tracks."

“I tried to start well and push from the start” – he declared Raffaele De Rosa – “I felt pretty good on the bike until about halfway through the race but once the wind picked up I started to have difficulty managing the bike and tried to finish the race. I'm obviously not happy with the result, but we know we have the potential to do better..."

The fifth round of the season will take place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, from 12 to 14 May.
