After the first four rounds of the season, the time has come for the protagonists of the World Championship to take advantage of the three-week break before the Imola round, which will be held from 11 to 13 May, to carry out a two-day test at the Automotodrom Brno.

The Czech circuit returned to the calendar this year after an absence of six years: the opportunity for the six teams present, in addition to taking stock of the development of the bikes, will also be to begin to gain confidence with this track.

The Kawasaki Racing Team, with Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes, who won a double in 2012 in Brno, will continue to work on the pace of the bike with the new regulations.

The two Ducati riders Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri will also work hard in the two days of testing to try to resolve the problems they had last weekend at the TT Circuit Assen.

The Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team will face work on the track with two riders with decidedly different moods: if Michael van der Mark is happy with the double podium in Assen, for Alex Lowes the weekend in Holland was a disastrous one, except for pole position, where he suffered tire problems.

Also present in Brno were Xavi Fores with the Barni racing Team, PJ Jacobsen who with the TripleM Honda World Superbike Team will work hard on the development of the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2, and the Argentine rider Leandro Mercado who races for the Orelac Racing VerdNatura team riding the Kawasaki ZX -10RR.
