A poker table with so many MotoGP stars has probably never been seen: the starting grid of the Jerez circuit which will host the bwin Spanish Grand Prix was in fact transformed for a few hours into a poker arena where champions of both present and from the past, such as Loris Capirossi, Randy de Puniet, Héctor Barberá and the motorcycling legends Alex Crivillé, Angel Nieto and Randy Mamola, challenged each other for the occasion not on two wheels but at the poker table. However, the Texas Hold'em challenge also became an opportunity to share exclusively with bwin, a listed company, leader in online gaming and partner of MotoGP since 2004, both their experience in MotoGP and their predictions for the upcoming race of the Gran Premio bwin de España.

At the end of the fun tournament, a few jokes with Loris Capirossi, one of the most representative riders of MotoGP, could not be missing. Who will be the winner of the Spanish Grand Prix? For Capirossi “It's not so easy to predict the winner: there are many strong riders. But we are in Spain, I think one of them could win, Lorenzo or Pedrosa." Your experience with online poker? “Online poker is very intelligent, you can have fun and interact with others. When I want to relax, I log on and play a bit of poker.”

Jerez first stage of the MotoGP Poker Series
The Spanish Grand Prix will not only host one of the most exciting MotoGP races, but will also be the perfect setting for the first stage of the bwin MotoGP Poker Series: the winners of the online tournaments played in Italy, France, Greece, Portugal and Spain, will be able live a unique experience as VIP guests.
