MotoGP – Sylvain Guintoli new rider for Team Pramac D'Antin for 2008

Sylvain Guintoli will be the next rider for Team Pramac D'Antin for the 2008 season. The French rider currently working for Team Yamaha Tech3 will therefore be riding a Ducati with Bridgestone tyres. Below is the Team statement. Team Pramac-D'antin announces that it has reached an agreement for next season with rider Sylvain Guintoli. This young 25-year-old Frenchman, originally from Montelimar, will be one of the standard bearers of the Italian-Spanish team who will ride one of the Ducati MotoGPs for 2008.
His GP racing career began in 2000 in the Le Mans Grand Prix, the following year he achieved very promising results, despite having a not very competitive bike at his disposal, which took him to fourteenth place in the final general classification.
His move to Team Tech3 as a test pilot allowed him to grow and become a first-class rider, and laid the foundations for becoming what he has become today: a rider with an aggressive, fast and consistent driving style.
