MotoGP Misano: Cal Crutchlow “It was a very difficult race”
Sixth place for the next Ducati MotoGP rider, beaten by Bradl on the last lap
Cal Crutchlow's Misano weekend ended with a sixth place in the race. Throughout the weekend of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, the British driver "fought" with his M1, which he no longer feels like it did a few races ago. In the end the result "satisfies" him, even if the overtaking he suffered on the last lap from Stefan Bradl "stings". The word is up to him.
“It's a shame to have lost fifth place on the last lap, but it's been a very difficult weekend and I'm happy to start from here with this result. My ambitions are higher than sixth place, but this weekend I wasn't confident with the bike. It was a very difficult race because Stefan (Bradl, ed.) was attached to my rear wheel from the first to the last lap and unfortunately, he managed to find a way to pass me. I did my best to recover fifth position, but I couldn't do it. However, the Team was very competitive all weekend. He never gave up and worked hard and I am grateful for their support.”
