Cal Crutchow returned to the track today after the hand injury suffered in Austin and therefore missing the Argentine Grand Prix. The British Ducati rider tried to regain confidence with his Desmosedici GP14, without paying too much attention to the time (he finished in eighteenth position). The word is up to him.

“Today we went as I thought. My position doesn't exactly reflect where we should be, but above all I'm happy to be back on the bike this weekend with my team. We didn't use the soft tyre, as other riders in front of me probably did. Today I just had to concentrate on re-establishing the feeling with the GP14. I feel a little rusty and my hand is still a little sore, especially when changing direction: however, I have no problems when braking. I will therefore be on track again tomorrow and I believe we can improve in free practice and qualifying.”
