MotoGP: Freddie Spencer “If Marquez doesn't think too much about records he could win them all”

A lot of people talk about electronic aids, but it still requires an incredible ability to anticipate what's going to happen and that's a gift that Marc has.”

It was pointed out to Spencer that many times Marquez saved himself from a fall by placing his elbow on the ground in order to gain leverage. “I would say that's one of his greatest skills. When something happens he has a great ability to recover. This requires skill and experience. There are some drivers who have this ability to anticipate what is going to happen and make it look easy. Last year he crashed in practice, but he managed to learn from it and that's what happens with all great riders. They have the ability to raise the bar and minimize errors.”
