Danilo Petrucci, Iodaracing rider from Terni, underwent surgery last night on his left wrist, injured in the Jerez de la Frontera warm up. Driver #9 had the fracture of the radius reduced and the consequent fixation of the sublunar subluxation of the left arm

The operation was carried out by Prof. Altissimi's team, while Dr. Lamperini, the orthopedist who has always followed "Petrux", coordinated the operations with the Mobile Clinic, which followed the pilot immediately after the fall . The surgery was technically successful but for the moment his participation in the French GP, scheduled for May 18th, is ruled out. Iodaracing has not yet decided whether to replace him or whether to skip the race to appear directly at Mugello.

“We are happy that Danilo's operation was successful,” he said Giampiero Sacchi, Team Owner Iodaracing – The wrist injury is quite annoying for riding a MotoGP, so we are in no rush regarding his return. As regards the crash in Jerez, after a careful analysis of the data, we were able to verify that there was no electronic anomaly as initially stated by our Petrucci. Probably the change between the bike that Danilo usually uses and the one that he rode in the second part of the Jerez warm up conveyed different sensations to the rider who interpreted them before an in-depth analysis, something that we were only able to do in recent days. This week we will decide whether and with whom to participate in the French GP, in the meantime we remain close to Danilo for his speedy recovery."
