MotoGP Argentina, QP: In the wet, Marquez wins pole, Vinales and Rossi 6th and 7th

GP Argentina MotoGP Qualifying– In the first qualifying session of the Argentine Grand Prix, many of the big names were forced to go through the Q1 trap. Twenty-two world titles competing for the two positions to get through to the round. On the wet asphalt of Termas de Rio Hondo, Dani Pedrosa and Valentino Rossi went through, outwitting Andrea Dovizioso at the end.

The Ducati rider will start 13th. Behind the Forlì Johann Zarco (Tech3), followed by Scott Redding. Jorge Lorenzo will start from 16th place, followed by Jack Miller and Pol Espargarò. The Spaniard on KTM precedes his teammate Bradley Smith. Tito Rabat will start from the twentieth spot, ahead of Hector Barberà (Reale Avintia Racing) and Sam Lowes. The Aprilia rider suffered a fall, fortunately without consequences. Closing the starting grid is Alex Rins on Suzuki.

Second thriller qualifying session for the premier class. In the end, Marc Marquez came out on top, the Honda Spaniard stopped the clock at 1:47.512, ahead of a surprising Karel Abraham, on the Ducati GP15, and Cal Crutchlow. Second row for Danilo Petrucci, followed by  Dani Pedrosa and a subdued Maverick Vinales. Valentino Rossi will start from seventh place, followed by Aleix Espargarò on Aprilia and Loris Baz on Ducati. Alvaro Bautista completes the top ten.

Andrea Iannone will start from 13th place.
