Moto3 Austin: Bastianini and Di Giannantonio in Texas for redemption

Team Gresini Moto3 2016 GP of the Americas – after not even a few days it's already time to go back to talking about races. Enea Bastianini e Fabio DiGiannantonio they are in fact ready for the American Grand Prix in Texas, Austin. The sense of revenge is strong for both: if Enea was unable to express his potential and remained outside the points zone, Fabio was slowed down by a technical problem. Two good reasons to try to reverse the trend.

“Austin is a very beautiful and technical track – he said Enea Bastianini – on which it will be important to be effective from the first tests to be fast in qualifying and prepare for the race as best as possible. Unfortunately in Argentina things didn't go as we would have liked, so in view of this event we will analyze all the data better, because mixed conditions with wet asphalt could recur and in the future we want to be competitive on these occasions too. I still hope that it will be sunny in Texas, but that's why we can't do anything but wait and see how it goes. The championship is still long, but we want to do it again immediately!".

“Putting aside the result obtained in the race – he explained Fabio Di Giannatonio – in Argentina we experienced an ever-growing weekend, making progress at every test session. I am convinced that if we had raced on dry asphalt we would have been able to have our say, improving the placing achieved in Qatar. In Austin I will find another unknown track, which is also very long and technical, but I hope to be able to continue this positive trend. It would be nice to get a good result to make up for the disappointment of the last race and thus close the first part of the championship in a satisfactory manner with three races outside Europe, which I knew would be a difficult first test".
