Manuel Poggiali takes provisional pole in Friday's official race at Estoril

Like this morning, Manuel Poggiali is ahead of everyone even in Friday's official races.

Gilera's Sammarinese stopped the clock at a time of 1:46.872, thus marking the only time under 1:47.

Behind him are Youichi Ui, with a gap of around 250 thousandths and Steve Jenkner, at almost 5 tenths.

Also good was the other San Marino driver, Simone Sanna, 5th, who is five positions ahead of his manager and teammate Lucio Cecchinello, today only 10th with a gap of almost 8 tenths.
