Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies (Yamaha Factory Racing MotoGP riders) have teamed up with Yamaha Motor Europe to give you the chance to win their MotoGP Challenge. In 2011 Yamaha celebrated its 50th year of Grand Prix racing with a special red and white livery used by the two official riders in some GPs. To celebrate this Yamaha Motor Europe has created a limited number of "special" motorcycles. Three European winners could win a YZF-R1, a Yamaha FZ-8 or an Aerox scooter with the fiftieth anniversary colour.

The challenge began on August 19th during the Indianapolis weekend. Registration is now open and you will have until October 28th to complete all six challenges! All the details of the competition and how to get started are available on www.facebook.com/yamaharacingcom, or directly on challenge.yamaha-motor.eu. Below is a fun video in which Lorenzo and Spies use the bikes up for grabs.

“We hope you have as much fun completing the challenges as we did in the video! It was great to be at the Yamaha dealership where we shot the film and the bikes they have there are a real treat! – said Jorge Lorenzo – We all thought the red and white color combination was really special and it was incredible to be part of the 50th anniversary last year. You have to enter the competition to try to win one of the bikes and be part of this!”

“The red and white 50th anniversary livery is my favourite, it brought me a lot of luck last year and some pretty impressive MotoGP results! Take part in the challenge too and find out if you can be one of the lucky ones!”
