Fiorani: "It wouldn't surprise me if Valentino left"

Honda's sporting director: "He's always looking for new stimuli"

Carlo Fiorani, Honda's sporting director, is connected to Radio
Anch`io Sport, Rai radio program broadcast every Monday shortly after
9.00: "In the night, after the victory, we had dinner with friends
more expensive. So the older ones went to bed and the more
young people at the disco".

Fiorani is leaving for Italy to have a meeting on Wednesday
with Honda leaders on Valentino's future: "We are continuing to discuss it
with the person concerned, we received the last counter-proposal last week,
we sent it to Honda's European headquarters, then we will have it on Wednesday
a video conference with Honda top management in Japan. There are no big distances
on material points. There are distances on philosophical points. Valentino is
a driver who needs new stimuli so it wouldn't surprise us if he decided
to change direction. We are making long-term proposals because
the Pesaro native is a fantastic driver and we would like to have him with us also in
2004. Of course in the end, as always, he will decide."
