250cc – Valencia FP2 – Di Meglio takes first position
Mike Di Meglio on the Mapfre Aspar Team Aprilia achieved the best time of 1'36.356 in the last test session of the 250 class in Valencia. The French rider preceded the Spaniards Alex Debon (Aeropuerto Castello Blusens – Aprilia) and Hector Barbera (Pepe World Team – Aprilia) in the standings, while in fourth place we find the championship leader Hiroshi Aoyama.
The Japanese Honda Scot rider precedes his teammate Raffaele De Rosa, while Alvaro Bautista is sixth. Marco Simoncelli was only eighth, in difficulty and ahead of Mattia Pasini, while Alex Baldolini relegated to 13th with the injured Roberto Locatelli in fifteenth place.
The only crash in the session fell to Jules Cluzel, placed in 18th position in the final time classification of the second and final session of testing.
