250cc – Estoril Warm Up – Dovizioso is the fastest

Andrea Dovizioso was the fastest in the warm up of the Portuguese GP in the 250cc class, the thirteenth stage of the 2007 quarter-litre world championship. The Team Kopron Scot driver achieved a time of 1'41"959, placing his brand mate Julian Simon by 118 thousandths and his teammate Yuki Takahashi by 233 thousandths. Three Hondas in the lead therefore ahead of the KTM of the Finn Mika Kallio and the Aprilia of the Spaniard Hector Barbera.

Sixth time for the other KTM, that of the Japanese Hiroshi Aoyama (1'43"322) who precedes the Aprilia of Team Kiefer – Bos – Sotin Racing of our Alex Baldolini and that of the leader of the world championship standings Jorge Lorenzo. Followed by Pol Espargarò, Thomas Luthi, S.Aoyama, Marco Simoncelli, Alvaro Bautista, Roberto Locatelli and Alex De Angelis. The session was characterized by a shower of rain that fell after the riders had completed a few laps.
