250cc – Donington Park Warm Up – De Angelis leader in the wet

Bad news on the weather front: the morning's inaugural Warm Up with the 250cc riders as protagonists presented a Donington Park wet again by rain. Very high times for an uninviting day meteorologically speaking, with races compromised in terms of entertainment. As regards the chronometric times, the quarter-litre warm-up once again rewarded Alex De Angelis, leader with a time of 1'49"151. Behind the San Marino Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo, a good fourth was Marco Simoncelli with the Aprilia dressed in Gilera colours.
Wet specialists in front such as Yuki Takahashi and Shuhei Aoyama, in fifth and sixth position respectively, followed by Bautista, Espargaro and Roberto Locatelli, decidedly fast on the water.
