250 cc – Brno QP2 – De Angelis in 2nd row, Corsi 13th

MS Aprilia Italia Corse riders finished the second round of official testing for the Czech GP on the Brno circuit. Alex De Angelis managed to improve the time set yesterday by over seven tenths, clocking 2'02”851. Simone Corsi also improves (-0.380s) who stops the clock at 2'04”302, but will start from the fourth row with the 13th time.
“We worked very well – said Alex – finding some satisfactory solutions for the front which helped me to go downhill over time. I think that tomorrow morning in the warm up we can still make some improvements. In the race I will try to stay close to the leaders and have a good race.”

Simone Corsi's mood is different. The Roman rider seems not to have found the right feeling with the bike on the Moravian circuit of Brno.

“I have improved – said Simone – but I need experience to do better. From the tests we carried out here in June I lowered another eight tenths, but I still can't attack the bike as I should. Tomorrow I will try to do my best to improve on today's position.”

On the occasion of the Czech Republic Grand Prix, MS Aprilia Italia Corse is on track without the usual MS logos on the fairings.

This decision was made, in agreement with the sponsor, in compliance with the European Union directive which came into force on 31 July, which prohibits tobacco advertising also through the sponsorship of international cultural and sporting events.
