The three-year collaboration signed between the Italian WTR team and the Indian Ten10 Racing team took shape with the formation of the WTR-Ten10 Racing Team which last week took part in the official IRTA Tests making its debut in the world championship for the first time ever Francesco Mauriello, Italian CIV 2010 champion and Sarath Kumar, Indian champion and first Indian rider in the history of MotoGP. The test weekend in Jerez allowed Francesco and Sarath to gain confidence with their Aprilia RSWs, a significant experience especially for the Indian rider in his first experience with a 125cc two-stroke motorcycle. Both had the opportunity to compete with the other drivers in the category: although the level of competition is high, the talent and strong determination of Francesco and Sarath will give fans and sponsors good expectations and probably also some nice surprises over the course of the season. Furthermore, Jerez was also the opportunity to take to the track with the official white-blue-orange colors that will distinguish the Team, which is supported by important technical and commercial partners, both Indian and Italian.

In particular, as it was in 2010, the Team continues to enjoy the technical contribution of the CRP Group, a primary group of Italian companies present in the world of motor sport for several decades and among other things, with CRP Racing, manufacturer of the eCRP 1.4 electric racing bike which has been talked about a lot in recent months. CRP Engineering also acquired part of the shares of Team WTR, thus strengthening the commercial part of the Team itself. ADV is another company that will collaborate with the WTR-Ten10 Racing Team and was already present last year, constructing among other things the Moto 2 AT02-1.0 which competed last year under the banner of the WTR S.Marino Team. The renewed collaboration is in fact aimed at participating in the MotoGP in 2012 as a manufacturer with its own Moto3 AT03-1.0 equipped with the 250cc 4-stroke "250M3" engine, which has now reached an advanced stage of completion and is ready to face the first tests on the track in the coming years. months. Among the team's various future projects, a possible return to the Moto2 category soon as well as promoting itself as a supporter of young international talents.

Roberto Cevolini, Sports Director:
“I firmly believe in motor sport at all levels as a driving force for technological evolution. Not only that, competitive competition on the track with prototypes gives young people the opportunity to compete with their peers with loyalty and in full respect of human dignity. In fact, I believe that motor sport, especially on two wheels, is one of the few sports where illegal means sometimes used to prevail over competitors cannot be used. Therefore a "clean" sport. Hence the passion that has led me to be involved in this extraordinary world full of pure adrenaline for so many years"

Francesco Mauriello #43, Italian driver:
“It is truly a great satisfaction to have reached the goal of competing in the MotoGP, let's say the dream of all riders. Although I am the 2010 Italian 125cc Champion, here in world motorbikes the level of competition is really high and I will certainly have a lot to learn. I know some tracks having already ridden there in some CIV and CEV races, but the others are completely new to me so my commitment to my apprenticeship will be maximum in every aspect. What awaits me doesn't scare me at all, on the contrary, it was what I was waiting for so I can't wait to start at full speed. In addition to motorcycling, I have another great passion that my homeland has passed on to me: football. In fact, my helmet has the "pacifier" imprinted on it, which is the donkey mascot of Napoli football, of which I am a huge fan. It has always accompanied me and I hope it will bring me luck also in this new adventure which marks the beginning of another important chapter in my life. I thank all the supporters, the Sponsors in particular the Neapolitan sponsors group "PIN" and last but not least my Manager Ferdinando Schiattarella. Everyone believing in me gave me this huge chance to compete at an international level.”

Sarath Kumar #69, Indian driver:
“When I decided to make motorcycling my profession, I knew that it would not be an easy path since in India there are no adequate structures to support those who want to pursue a motorcycling career at a professional level. But passion and dedication overcome every obstacle and sooner or later, my goal was to get to MotoGP. Thanks to the support of fantastic people who believe in me, today my dream has come true and I hope it can be an example to give hope to many other young people in my country, as well as giving an impulse, if not a decisive turning point, in the development of motorcycling in India. This will be a year of experience for me in preparation for the next one, I will try to learn as much as possible but I also plan to start getting good results in a couple of races. I am proud to represent my nation in the world; I thank all my supporters, the sponsors in general, Britsh Nutrition in particular and my team, for which I dedicated the "ant" printed on my race number which is intended to symbolize team work."
