Marc Marquez, the young Spanish rider who leads the 125 world championship, has the opportunity to take his first chance to win the 2010 title. Of course, to win the title in Estoril he needs to win the Portuguese Grand Prix and hope that Terol and Espargarò do not do better than fifth and eighth place respectively. In general, however, two second places (in Estoril and Valencia) are enough for him to become world champion in the eighth-litre class. The word is up to him.

“It was nice to have a week off after traveling so much and being away from home in different time zones for so long. It was possible to regain my strength and this is important at this point in the season, because there are two races which, up to now, are the two most important of my life. We will have to be very concentrated, because Estoril is one of those circuits where the climate is very variable. We must make the most of the time available and do a good job which will allow us to be prepared for all the conditions we may encounter on the track. It's a circuit where I did well last year with the KTM. It was a good weekend, apart from the race because I crashed when I was in second position. I am 100% motivated, we will face the race with the same mentality as the last Grands Prix.”
