A technical situation that is becoming increasingly dramatic. The Valsir Seedorf Racing team has paid for the choice, for two years now, of managing two Honda RS125s, lagging behind KTM and, above all, Aprilia. The team owned by the AC Milan player tries to do everything possible to allow its drivers, Lai and Conti, to obtain the desired results, but in the second qualifying round we find them in 20th and 35th position respectively. Fabrizio Lai tries to explain why…

“When the engine doesn't push much you try to find solutions on the track: you dive in to get the most out of it and so the limits of the chassis come out. The bike, when entering a curve, runs wide and I am unable to open before the others, losing precious tenths. For tomorrow we should improve the chassis setting but the real problem with this Honda is that it has grown little compared to the Aprilias"

The same goes for the European champion Michele Conti, who must also know the route.

“I know very well that I have to learn the circuit and above all change the world championship driving style, which is completely different from that of the European... it's not easy: time is very short! I was part of the shift trying to stay with the group and learn more quickly the different way to enter the curve... it was useful but the time flew by"
