Simone Corsi recorded the best time in the 125 Warm Up in Indianapolis. The Roman driver of the Fontana Racing team set a time of 1'49.586, ahead of pole position holder Julian Simon, Sandro Cortese and Andrea Iannone, the second Italian in the top four in the ranking.

In fifth place is Pol Espargaro, with Sergio Gadea, Scott Redding, Bradley Smith and the winner of the 2008 edition of the Indianapolis Grand Prix, Nicolas Terol on his Jack&Jones Team Aprilia.

Only eleventh time for Marc Marquez with the first KTM, the other Italians did poorly: Zanetti 22nd, Marconi 27th ahead of Savadori (qualified with the 18th time) and teammate Luca Vitali.
