125cc – Misano FP2 – Bradley Smith in the lead
In the last free practice session of the 125 class at the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, Bradley Smith achieved the best time in 1'44.130, trailing his rivals by a few thousandths. In second place is in fact the Indianapolis winner Pol Espargaro, followed by the world championship leader Julian Simon and Andrea Iannone, fourth and first of the Italians.
Fifth time for Nico Terol ahead of Cortese, Vazquez and Simone Corsi, the last Italian well placed in the standings. Luigi Morciano (wild card with the Aprilia Junior GP Racing Dream) is 17th, Gabriele Ferro 23rd, with Savadori, Moretti, Zanetti, Tonucci, Marconi and Vitali behind.
Riccardo Moretti, the reigning Italian champion, fell in the final minutes following a contact with Jonas Folger, only 32nd in the standings.
