125cc – Losail Free practice 3 – Terol in the lead ahead of Vasquez and Cortese

The third and final free practice session of the Qatar GP for the 125cc class recently ended. Nico Terol still remains in the lead, with a time of 2′ 06.957: the Bankia Aspar Team rider clears the gap behind him. In second place, 9 tenths behind, we find Efren Vasquez, followed by two tenths of a second from the German Sandro Cortese.

Fourth time, however, for Sergio Gadea, driver of Paris Hilton's team; Jonas Folger follows in fifth place, while the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira closes in sixth place: the driver of the Andalucia Banca Civica team proved to be very fast during the session, but in the meantime he was the protagonist of more than one crash. Seventh time for Hector Faubel, more than two seconds behind teammate Terol, while Luis Salom continues his positive progression, finishing with the eighth fastest time. The top ten is closed by the French Zarco (9th) and the Spanish Moncayo (10th).

Still a difficult day for the Italian drivers: the first Italian on the track is Simone Grotzky Giorgi with the 21st time, followed by the two drivers of Team Italia FMI, Morciano 22nd and Tonucci 23rd.
