125 cc – Sachsenring FP2 – Kallio the best

Mika Kallio recorded the best performance in the second free practice session of the 125cc at the Sachsenring, with a time of 1'28"352. The unbeatable protagonist of five seasonal pole positions preceded Thomas Luthi, the provisional poleman and championship leader Mattia Pasini and in fourth position an excellent Manuel Poggiali, on the rise with Gilera.

The surprises of these forty-five minutes of testing are undoubtedly Aleix Espargaro, fifth with the Honda of Clarence Seedorf's team, and Sandro Cortese, home rider in seventh position with the RS125 of the Kiefer Castrol Honda team. Back, far behind their usual positions we find Marco Simoncelli, tenth, with Gabor Talmacsi behind him and Julian Simon, winner with the KTM in the Donington Park storm, in thirteenth position. Appointment at 13.15pm for the second qualifying round.
