Brno is one of his favorite tracks. He has always shown a certain feeling with the Czech Republic track, where he has always achieved excellent results but also some important crashes. Slips or not, Thomas Luthi achieved the best performance in the second free practice session of the 125cc in Brno, the last before the decisive round of Official Qualifying scheduled for this afternoon starting at 13,15pm. With the Elit team's Honda, the championship leader stopped the clock at 2'09.139, a time that reworked his personal best performance achieved a few minutes before the checkered flag. Red helmet therefore for the very young Swiss rider, who has already confirmed that he wants to race in 125 next season too, ahead of a Marco Simoncelli who is decidedly in form and only 291 thousandths behind his rival in the championship.

In ninth position we find Lorenzo Zanetti, while Mattia Pasini crashed in 13th, two positions ahead of an unconvincing Manuel Poggiali. Among the pleasant surprises was seeing the son of art Stefan Bradl twelfth with one of the five KTM RR125s in the race, with a few thousandths of a disadvantage over Julian Simon who still won in the universal deluge of Donington Park... At 13.15pm the second round of Official Qualifying : 30 minutes which will not be enough for the 41 125cc riders to find the right feeling less than 24 hours before the race, but enough to give the assault to the implacable poleman Mika Kallio...
