A wild Franco Battaini wins pole in Jerez
The best 250 rider today was Franco Battaini, who with a time of 1:44.803 moved ahead of everyone during the last available laps.
Behind the Italian were Fonsi Nieto, almost 5 tenths of a second, and Marco Melandri.
Rolfo also did well, taking fifth place
