FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization have announced the calendar of the 2020 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship: 13 rounds are scheduled in 11 different countries spread across four continents: also in 2020 the WorldSBK season will begin in Australia on the fascinating Phillip Island circuit for the traditional weekend that will open the year, scheduled from 28 February to 1 March and preceded by the last Official test for WorldSBK and WorldSSP scheduled for 24 and 25 February, a week before the inaugural Round.

Two weeks after the event in Australia, WorldSBK and WorldSSP will fly to Qatar to take to the track under the floodlights of the Losail International Circuit for the second round of the season scheduled for 13-15 March. As usual, the Qatar Round will take place at night starting on Friday and with the three WorldSBK races taking place between Saturday and Sunday.

The Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto will host the first European Round of 2020 on the weekend of 27 – 29 March and will also see the return of WorldSSP300 to the track. From Spain the paddock will then move north, in the direction of Holland where the fourth round will be staged at the historic "Motorcycling University" of the TT Circuit Assen from 17 to 19 April.

More fantastic WorldSBK battles await us from 8th to 10th May for Round Five which will take place on the famous Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari track in Imola before returning to Spain from 22nd to 24th May at MotorLand Aragón.

The sunny Rimini Riviera will be the stage for the seventh Round which will be staged at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from 12 to 14 June for the second opportunity that Italian fans will have to experience the great WorldSBK duels up close. After a short break, the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship will return to the track for another “classic”, the British Round at Donington Park from 3 to 5 July 2020.

Fans will be able to experience all the excitement of WorldSBK even during the holidays thanks to a very interesting innovation that has been included in the 2020 calendar: in fact, from 31 July to 2 August the Championship will return to action in Germany on the Motosport Arena Oschersleben circuit for the ninth Round of the year.

A busy September awaits us with WorldSBK, WorldSSP and WorldSSP300. From 4 to 6 September everyone's attention will be turned to Portugal where Portimao will welcome the various categories on the rollercoaster-style circuit of the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. The debut of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is scheduled for 18 to 20 September on the famous Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya which will be making its first ever appearance. After Spain a week later WorldSBK will head to France for the last European Round of the year (and it will also be the last round for WorldSSP300) at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.

The last checkered flag of 2020 will be waved in South America at the San Juan Villicum Circuit in Argentina which will host the season finale. In addition to all this, an official test is also planned for mid-2020 but has yet to be made official.
