Superbike 2022 – Alvaro Bautista returns to Ducati after two years spent with Honda. The Spanish rider will be back on the Aruba.it Racing team's Panigale V2022R from 4.
In 2019, in his first year in Superbike, he achieved 16 victories (24 podiums in total), finishing in second place in the championship standings.
Making room for him will be Scott Redding, who has already signed with BMW and is currently third in the Superbike world championship with 273 points against the 311 of Rea and Razgatlioglu.
We remember that Bautista was World Champion in the 125cc class in 2006, then moved to the 250cc class and achieved 8 successes and 24 podiums overall. He has raced in the MotoGP class since 2010, obtaining three podiums between 2012 and 2014 and in the 2017 and 2018 seasons he raced with Ducati.
