Over the weekend just ended, the 2013 Champion Tom Sykes was one of the many guests from the world of production derivatives present at the OCTO British Grand Prix in Silverstone, on the occasion of the MotoGP test.

Like all his other colleagues involved in the ENI FIM SBK World Championship, the English Kawasaki rider is enjoying the long summer break, waiting to finally return to the track next 18-20 September for the round in Jerez de la Frontera.

The desire to start again as always is great, even though he has recently become a father for the second time and there has been very little relaxation for him.

“It's definitely a good break,” he said Sykes – “Now I have two little girls, so not much relaxation, even if I have a lot of fun. Honestly, after Malaysia I would have liked to get back on track straight away and forget about the latest results there. We are very fast, and we just have to adapt the bike to my riding style. This is why MotoGP is very interesting, a championship where the chassis can undergo many changes depending on tires and conditions. It wouldn't be bad to try one..."

Malaysia has definitively ended Tom Sykes' chase for the 2015 title, and there are not many doubts about the name of the next champion “The title is gone. I think Jonathan could easily stay at home and enjoy some tea in the next races and nothing would change. We must use these last three rounds to improve and solve our problems, even if it is not easy to work on them during the race weekends.
