Superbike: Tom Sykes is the fastest in the Assen Warm Up

Tom Sykes also signs up for this morning's warm up at the TT Circuit in Assen: the English rider is in great shape and can't wait to face today's two races, in a round that must be his relaunch in the world championship standings .

Behind him, just 50 thousandths of a second, is teammate Jonathan Rea, then home idol Michael van der Mark, who so far has performed well in front of his fans as he himself aimed to do in his declarations on the eve of the race.
With the fourth time we find Chaz Davies, who confirms yesterday's position in qualifying, ahead of Leon Haslam.
Reigning champion Sylvain Guintoli is eighth, behind Alex Lowes, who seems to have resolved the technical problems linked to the new electronic package that had held him back in Aragon, and Jordi Torres.
Ayrton Badovini on BMW and David Salom on Team Pedercini's Kawasaki complete the top ten.
Larry Pegram, who finally took to the track this weekend with the second EBR of Team Hero, of which he is manager, did not set a time due to technical problems.

Meet at 10pm with the start of Race 30.
