Leon Camier and MV Agusta Reparto Corse carried out, together with the other teams involved in the series derivative championship, the official Pirelli test day at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, after finishing the Pirelli Riviera di Rimini Round.
The eighth round of the championship did not reserve much satisfaction for the English driver: in Race 1, involved in the contact between Savadori and Fores, he was involved in a difficult comeback up to the eighth final position, while he had to abandon the second race due to a technical failure, failure of an engine valve.

However, analyzing the part of the season covered so far, it is clear that F4 has definitely improved compared to previous years, becoming one of the most competitive on the grid: apart from the unhappy period at Misano, Camier is constantly in the top positions, not only in the race but also in qualifying and free practice, a sign that there has been a leap in quality in terms of top speed.
Great credit, according to many professionals and the men of the team, goes to the English driver who believed and is firmly believing in the project, into which he always puts all his professionalism and talent.

At the end of the day of testing, which lasted eight hours, Camier took stock of the situation with WorldSBK.com.

“We started in the morning with some tests of Pirelli tires to understand which direction to go in” – he explained Leon Camier – “The biggest difference for us is that we were able to do a good job on the chassis, we understood where we lose and what we need to improve on – only with the setting and the geometry changes, and we were able to make the changes and do it working like this has been more than positive for us.
We were very strong all day, always setting good lap times, and in the end thanks to a change we went even faster. There was only one new part we changed, and combined with other changes, this made all the difference. MV has made great strides forward. There are some areas where other manufacturers – especially Ducati and Kawasaki – have an advantage, but we are improving. And I hope the modification on the frame is what we need to take that last little step. If we can get some power output, that will allow us to take a big step forward right away. Obviously we will have to check the power and the electronics will have to be updated, but I think that with some time, new parts and another engine, we can make a good step."
