Superbike: Sykes ahead of everyone in the first free practice at Magny-Cours

The first free practice session of the Fassi French Round ended with the best time of Tom Sykes, in dry weather conditions, he stopped the clocks at a time of 1'38.755, ahead of his teammate by 17 and 46 thousandths of a second respectively , and new World Champion, Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam.

Fourth place for Chaz Davies, stopped two tenths behind, who preceded former world champion Sylvain Guintoli, Alex Lowes, Niccolò Canepa (Althea Racing Ducati) and Ayrton Badovini (BMW Motorrad Italia), only six tenths behind.

One second and two tenths behind for Michael van der Mark (Pata Honda World Superbike) who, with Matteo Baiocco (Althea Racing Ducati), completes the top 10. Luca Scassa (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Superbike Team) does well, eleventh precede a Jordi Torres (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) busy getting to know the French track. Technical problem instead for Markus Reiterberger (VanZon Remeha BMW), who still finished in thirteenth place.
