The riders of Team Althea, protagonists of unfortunate falls during the second split of the Superpole, tell their impressions at the end of qualifying:

Carlos Checa:
“In the Superpole I went a bit long and I didn't expect such a slippery white line. I couldn't do anything to avoid the fall. A real shame, because I could have done a good lap and gotten a good result. Anyway, that's how it went, we lost the front row, but at least we know we have good pace in both conditions, both in the dry and in the wet. We worked well all weekend and I'm very confident. Having two races in the dry would be more pleasant for all of us and for the fans, but from what we have seen so far it will be completely unknown."

David Giugliano:
“The weekend hasn't been easy for us up to this point, between yesterday's crash and the small problems with the bike, I haven't been able to put together all the elements I need. In the Superpole I was finding a good feeling in the wet and if it hadn't been for the crash, I could have been on the front row and maybe even on pole. However, let's hold on and move forward; we'll see what we can do tomorrow. The positive side of the Superpole is that we showed that we have good pace in the wet, so if they are wet races, we have a good chance.”
