Another extraordinary weekend ends for Aruba.it Racing – Ducati and above all for Álvaro Bautista, absolute dominator of this start to the season with 9 consecutive victories in as many races: also at the Motorland of Aragon, in front of his home crowd, the Spaniard he left his opponents no chance.

After the success in Race 1 and the Superpole Race, the victory in Race 2 was the 350th for Ducati in the Superbike World Championship since the championship began back in 1988.
With nine victories under his belt, Bautista remains firmly at the top of the championship with 186 points, 39 more than Rea, while Davies is seventh with 56 points. The next World Superbike event will take place in a few days on the Dutch TT Assen circuit, from 12 to 14 April.

“It was truly an extraordinary weekend. Winning three races here in Spain in front of my family, friends and Spanish fans was truly very nice. In all three I was able to follow my strategy, that is, start fast and maintain my pace. The conditions in the three races were certainly different, especially today in the Superpole Race which took place in the morning when it was very cold. Luckily the temperature increased for race 2, but the wind was very strong. Despite this, I managed to stay focused, understand the track situation and still push to the maximum. In the end we achieved nine victories out of nine and we are very happy. The team did an incredible job, we are on the right path and I would like to thank Aruba, all of Ducati and my team because congratulations go to them too” – said Álvaro Bautista.
