At the Motorland in Aragon the free practice sessions of the Pirelli Round of Aragon see Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) always in the lead with the best time in the combined, ahead of Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), who takes the best FP2 time trial, and the outgoing champion Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha with Brixx WorldSBK).

Jonathan Rea seems to be going very fast on this track and today he showed that he could be the man to beat.
Remaining in KRT, Alex Lowes finished the morning session in fourth place and was sixth overall at the end of the day.

Alvaro Bautista improved a lot in the afternoon, taking two tenths off his first session time and showing off a good race simulation, using the SCX tire and the swingarm he tried in the tests.
On the other side of the garage, Michael Ruben Rinaldi's Friday ends with the fifth fastest time.

Second time this morning and third at the end of the day for world champion Toprak Razgatlioglu, while teammate Andrea Locatelli finished the combined event in eighth place.

The two Team HRC riders, Iker Lecuona and Xavi Vierge improved in the afternoon session, and finished in tenth and thirteenth position respectively: Lecuona hopes that the lower temperatures in FP3 and Tissot Superpole will allow him to improve.
Mixed feelings from this Friday within the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team which with the Ukrainian Ilya Mikhalchik, making his debut in WorldSBK, finished in twelfth position in the combined, while Scott Redding (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) did not have a good day and it is only sixteenth.

Philipp Oettl (Team GoEleven) finished eleventh while the other Ducati Independent rider Axel Bassani (Motocorsa Racing) was fourteenth ahead of Eugene Laverty (Bonovo Action BMW).
After the high-speed crash in FP1, Lucas Mahias (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) is seventeenth in the combined and precedes Kohta Nozane (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team), rookie Luca Bernardi (Barni Spark Racing Team) and wildcard Gabriele Ruiu (Bmax Racing ).
Christophe Ponsson (Gil Motor Sport-Yamaha) occupies the 21st position and places himself behind Oliver Konig (Orelac Racing VerdNatura), Leandro Mercado (MIE Racing Honda Team), the rookie and his teammate Hafizh Syahrin, while the Belgian Loris Cresson (TPR Team Pedercini Racing) closes the ranking.
