Superbike: provisional 2017 calendar published

Dorna WSBK Organization has announced the provisional Calendar for the 2017 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, which does not feature any major changes apart from the return of the Portimao Round, Portugal, after a year's absence.
All the stages of the new FIM Supersport 300 category are also included in the Calendar.

There will still be thirteen stages: starting as per tradition at the end of February at Phillip Island and ending at Losail at the beginning of November, while the circuit that will host the twelfth round, 13-15 October, remains to be confirmed, given that Jerez de la Frontera is not still safe.
Two Italian rounds have been confirmed, in Imola and Misano, there will be four non-European ones, namely Australia, Thailand, the United States and Qatar: it therefore seems that, net of sensational last-minute changes, Laguna Seca has been confirmed, given in doubt, while the possibility of introducing the one in Villicum, in San Juan in Argentina, to the calendar has fallen through.
Apparently the route on the border with Chile will not be ready by October 2017, as had been promised.

Dorna WSBK Organization also announces the dates of the official tests:

· 3 April, MotorLand Aragon (WorldSBK)

· 18 September, Portugal, Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (WorldSBK)
