Superbike Portimao: the Aprilia riders' statements at the end of the Portimao races

At the end of the Portuguese weekend, here are the statements from the Team Aprilia riders.

Max Biaggi:

“Two really tough races, strange from certain points of view.

In Race1 the conditions were completely different from those found in practice, and even in Race2 with a dry track the grip was not optimal.

Considering the difficulties and the many contacts, I am happy with the fourth and third places which reconfirm us at the top of the standings.

Now we start preparing for the last race in Magny Cours, as always giving our all."

Eugene Laverty:

“My first victory with and for Aprilia came on the track I like most, in front of many of my fans who I thank.

The grip in Race 2 wasn't perfect, I tried to push hard straight away to take the advantage, then managing to manage it until the end.

This year we have had some difficult moments, like Race 1 today, but we are finally demonstrating our potential with a growing end to the season."
