The Team Althea rider dominated race 1 while in race 2 he slipped while trying to escape. Now the ranking is getting quite heavy, the Spaniard is in fact 30 points behind Max Biaggi and also has Rea, Sykes and Melandri ahead of him. The word is up to him.

“A great result, a great race, a great moment – ​​that of race 1. I have always felt at ease on this track and to win here again was fantastic, especially after a few difficult rounds. The race wasn't easy and Melandri pushed until the end. I couldn't relax even for a moment, but I had a good feeling with the tire we chose and I was able to have a good race. I had to do everything in the corners because on the straight I really lost a lot compared to the 4 cylinders but we made it. I am very happy for that result, also for the whole team who worked so well this weekend. In the second moto I was pushing hard because I had confidence in the bike and the tire but obviously I pushed a little too much and the steering closed. I got back on track but there was nothing to do, I had lost too much time now.”
