Superbike: Melandri gets a double in Race 2

It should have been Kawasaki's Sunday, at least according to the premises of the qualifying and warm up sessions, and instead the Aprilias dominate in Jerez de la Frontera.

Melandri was once again the author of an amazing race and took another well-deserved victory against teammate Sylvain Guintoli, who still kept pace with Tom Sykes and kept the fight for the title open.
The reigning champion this time was the author of a good race, even if he never had the pace to worry the first two.
So much bad luck for Davide Giugliano who started off well but ran into a technical problem which forced him to retire: for him it was the third consecutive zero after the crash in Race 2 at Laguna and in Race 1 this morning.
At Ducati the day was saved by Chaz Davies, who came fourth.
Difficulties for Loris Baz: an anonymous race for him, mindful of the mistake in the first heat he preferred not to take risks and settle for seventh place.

Finally, crashes for EVO riders David Salom, Niccolò Canepa and Alessandro Andreozzi: first in the category is therefore Sylvain Barrier.
