Superbike: Max Biaggi "The season comes to life at Donington"

Max Biaggi arrives at Donington at the top of the rider standings, although in the last two Superbike races, the privateer and his Aprilia were not among the protagonists for the victory, in fact his teammate Laverty was faster. In fact, both in Monza and Assen, the Northern Irishman reached the podium, unlike the Roman driver.

“The season is coming to life – said Max Biaggi – Every race from here on becomes crucial, also because after Monza we find ourselves with a particularly compact classification. The 2012 Championship is proving to be more competitive than ever, practically all brands have at least one driver capable of fighting for victory. At Donington the first opponents are, obviously, the home riders, but I can't exclude anyone. The important thing for us will be to find the right path in the setup straight away, so as not to have to struggle in crucial moments and arrive at Sunday with a good package.”
