The penultimate round of the season, which will take place this weekend at the Nevers Magny-Cours track in France, could be crucial for all three Kawasaki riders.

For Tom Sykes, a good result at Magny-Cours could in fact mean putting an end to the race for the drivers' world title once and for all: the French track is one of his favourites, and the Ninja ZX-10R seems to adapt very well.
With already eight victories under his belt this year, Sykes will try to defend his 31-point lead as best he can, aiming to win both races.

Absent last year due to injury, Loris Baz will be looking for important results on his home circuit, in front of a traditionally very warm and numerous audience.

Like Sykes, David Salom also finds himself in command of the EVO class, and in twelfth place in the overall ranking, with an advantage of 41 points over Niccolò Canepa.
After this summer's operation, the condition of his injured hand has significantly improved and the Majorcan is ready to face this round.

“This will be a very important weekend for the fate of the season. I'm very relaxed, but also excited to race at Magny-Cours. It's a track where I've done very well in the past, so I'm looking forward to returning to the saddle of my Ninja ZX-10R” – he declared Tom Sykes – “Despite the podium in race 2, we had some problems in Jerez, so I hope that this time we will be much more competitive. At the moment the ranking is smiling at us and even with an error nothing would be compromised. Obviously I hope to increase my leadership this weekend."

“I can't wait to get on track at Magny-Cours, especially since I didn't race there last year. It's always special to be able to compete in front of your fans” – he said Loris Baz – “Despite the absence in 2013 I know the track very well, as I have raced here in the other classes and also in the Bol D'Or. I like the track, the Ninja ZX-10R works very well here, so I'm sure we can get good results. There is always a large crowd at Magny-Cours and the atmosphere is truly special”.

“My ranking situation is positive. Magny-Cours isn't a bad track, especially when it's completely dry, but it's still not my favourite" – he said David Solomon – “I have a 41 point lead in the EVO class but I don't want to think about the final victory, simply about obtaining the best placing in the category in the race. I feel good because my hand is practically fine now, if not 100% it's certainly 95%. My doctor said that in a month he will be in perfect condition and that the recovery has been very good indeed."
