Superbike: Joan Lascorz Update, new Provec Racing press release
The unfortunate Kawasaki rider has started physiotherapy sessions
Provec Racing, the team that fields Kawasaki in the Superbike World Championship, today issued the tenth press release on Joan Lascorz, the Spanish rider who was the victim of a terrible accident in the post-GP tests in Imola with serious consequences for his spine (he had suffered a fracture of the sixth vertebra ). Once operated in Italy he was transported to Spain.
“Joan Lascorz was admitted to the Guttmann Institute on Monday 14 May after spending 40 days in the Vall d'Hebron hospital. Upon her arrival at Guttmann, Joan spent a few days adapting to the upright position of the chair after so many days in bed, this is because in these cases the symptoms of dizziness and the risk of fainting are common. This week he has already started working with the physiotherapists from 10:00 to 17:00. A routine that will certainly last a minimum of 4 months. When we deem it appropriate, we will try to explain the possible consequences of the accident and also give the possibility of recovery. We want to thank all the champions once again for the support Joan is receiving. Everyone, from riders to teams in both championships (MotoGP and Superbike) supported it.”
The press release concludes with the Team's initiative which created a sticker to support Joan and which will be distributed in Misano for the Superbike and in Catalunya for the MotoGP. The sticker says “Power for 17 Lascorz – Never Give Up – Fighting Spirit”.

Do not give up
come on joan!
Poor boy, it's one thing to lose a hand, an eye, but being paralyzed from the abdomen down I think is the worst thing... especially for a boy..., I hope for a miracle.
Come on and let's hope for the best!
