Superbike Jerez, Race 1: crash for Xavi Forès

Superbike, Gaerne Spanish Round, Race1. The first heat of Xavi Fores (Barni Racing Team) ended after just two laps as he curiously slipped in a corner together with Davide Giugliano, who was a few meters behind him: the causes of the falls are not yet known and neither of them manages to confirm whether a collision caused them.

A real shame for the Spanish rider who wanted to fight for important positions in Jerez de la Frontera in front of his home crowd, after showing good pace throughout the weekend.

“Unfortunately I crashed after only two laps. Today I felt good on the bike and we still haven't understood the reason for the crash” – he commented Xavi Forès – “I was fifth and I was convinced I could have a good pace and have a good race! We were simply unlucky. The good thing is that we still have a race tomorrow and we will try to do our best! Now we will work to understand where the mistake was."
