Motul Italian Round, Warm Up: at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola, on the day of remembrance of Ayrton Senna, under a sky full of clouds and on a wet track, the fastest was Michael Van Der Mark on CBR Honda, followed by Gianluca Vizziello for the GoEleven Kawasaki team and Joshua Brookes for the Milwaukee BMW team.

With the uncertain asphalt the times increased considerably, with references exceeding two minutes in total at the end of the session, in the first laps even two minutes compared to yesterday's times, given that the Race 2 favorites rightly did not want take risks, mindful of Guintoli's scary accident yesterday in qualifying.
The Frenchman obviously won't be at the start today either but it seems that his condition is improving and it is possible that he will be present in the pits today.

Fourth time for De Angelis, followed by Leon Camier and Alex Lowes, while Chaz Davies set the seventh time with Lorenzo Savadori and the two BMWs of Jordi Torres and Markus Reiterberger completed the top ten.
Davide Giugliano was 12th, followed by Jonathan Rea 13th while Tom Sykes preferred to stay in the pits.

Appointment with the start of Race 2 at 13 pm.
