After the numerous controversies following the flop of the Monza round, Infront Motor Sports and the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza have decided how to reimburse the fans who in early May, under the downpour, were unable to attend the regular running of the fourth round of the eni Superbike World Championship.

Below is the press release sent by Infront:

“Despite all attempts to proceed with the normal carrying out of Sunday's sporting activities, unfortunately it was necessary to change the program due to the adverse weather conditions that hit the Monza circuit. For Infront Motor Sports, driver safety is always the number one priority when a motorsport event is organised.

On the other hand, we would like to underline that, overall, the entertainment offered over the weekend was of a high standard. The collateral events organized to celebrate 25 years of the Championship included a museum with the display of the most successful historic Superbike motorcycles, the presence of great riders of the past including Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss, Troy Corser, Doug Polen and Fred Merkel, the Superbike Village with its attractions and many other initiatives.

Furthermore, the tests on Friday and Saturday took place regularly, the Superpole, the Supersport, Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600 races and Superbike race 2, even if it was interrupted after eight laps, it still offered a very exciting show.

In any case, to accommodate all enthusiasts, Infront Motor Sports in agreement with the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza has decided to allow free entry to the Paddock for the Sunday of the Monza 2013 event to all those who present the coupon valid for on Sunday or a season ticket for the 2012 Superbike race.

With this decision we hope to do something that will be appreciated by all fans who next year will be able to access the "heart" of the Superbike Championship for free with the possibility of meeting all their champions live."
