Superbike – Race 2 Magny Cours – Biaggi beats Crutchlow

Max Biaggi concluded the 2010 World Superbike season by winning the last race at Magny Cours, beating Cal Crutchlow in the sprint by just 87 thousandths. The world champion resisted the attacks of the future Yamaha Tech 3 rider for MotoGP, thus winning for the 10th time in a season to remember and, perhaps, unrivaled in motorcycling, with the Biaggi-Aprilia duo winning the rider and manufacturer titles .

Crutchlow did everything he could to get a double, but had to settle for second place finishing ahead of Michel Fabrizio. The Roman rider thus said goodbye to Ducati which withdrew the official team from the Superbike world championship in view of 2011, managing to beat the very combative Sylvain Guintoli on his Alstare team Suzuki.
